Beauty and The Beast is one of my favorite shows to have gotten the opportunity to mix so far. This is one of the largest performances that we have done. The use of Yamaha's Rio as orchestra inputs and outputs within the orchestra as well. The use of Aviom D400 was utilized for person monitors for orchestra members. With the use of the Aviom systems, the orchestra members are able to set their own mix of what they want to hear, as what is getting sent to them is prefader and often rather loud. DCA programming was utilized to keep only the necessary mics open when needed. This show was mixed on the Yamaha M7CL. For this show we had to purchase an additional 16x16 Dante Card, making 3 total within the M7CL.
